The BabyElf Digital Thermometer is equipped with high and low temperature alarms to ensure a safe water temperature. When the water temperature is too high, a red backlight flashes and a sound prompt is activated. When the water temperature is too low, a blue backlight flashes and a sound prompt alerts you to the situation. The thermometer also has a green backlight when the water temperature is within the suitable range, displaying the timing and current water temperature.

The timing function starts automatically when the product is placed in the water, pauses when it's taken out of the water, and continues timing without any manual setting when placed back in the water. With a waterproof design, the entire thermometer can be used as a water thermometer during baby bathing.

The product is made of plastic and electronic components and offers the flexibility to switch between ℃ and ℉ units. It has a temperature measurement range of 32 ~ 122℉ / 0 ~ 50℃, with a high temperature prompt for temperatures exceeding 102.2℉ / 39℃ and a low temperature prompt for temperatures below 96.8℉ / 36℃. The maximum timing range is 59 minutes and 59 seconds and it uses two LR44 (or AG13) button batteries, which can last for about six months.
