These spindle rods are tailored for pressure-mounted gates, relying on tension against walls for stability. Measure your gate to select the right size, as M8 screws fit 8-9mm holes, and M10 screws accommodate 10mm holes. When installing at the bottom of stairs, use Y-spindle rods against banisters and regular rods elsewhere. If needed, our extra-long rods can extend gate width, but remember, pressure-mounted gates aren't recommended at the top of stairs; hardware-mounted gates are the preferred choice.

Each set includes two banister spindle rods, suitable for most staircases, but double up when necessary due to round banisters or a single side's top and bottom.
